I originally come from Korea, and it’s been four years since I’ve come to live in London. Having grown up in different countries, I am interested in exploring cultural identities and travelling – I was recently able to develop some work on these ideas through my ‘Seoul’ project. I often use pen and ink as my medium, and then develop initial sketches through processes such as screenprinting. Previously, I preferred to work in black and white but I have come to increasingly enjoy involving colour to my line drawings. For my following projects, I’d like to experiment by drawing or printing illustrations on 3D surfaces and objects, adding more of a theatrical feeling to my work.
