Tabby Booth
"There were a few pieces that really hit home for me, that will both haunt my nightmares and fascinate my daydreams. To clarify, I think haunting my sleep is a good thing. Especially by silhouetted goblin creatures like those in Tabby Booth's illustrations. Her pictures had a fearful complexity with a rather innocent, illustrative style: childlike and terrifying. These animated ink drawings conveyed the Brothers Grimm with an oedipal complex mixed in."
